Explaining Play-to-Earn and Rewards per Game Modes

Does a play to earn mode exist for Dota 2? You betcha!

At GameBeef, we believe in rewarding our players for their skills and hard work. That's why we offer a Play-to-Earn system, where you can earn real money by playing and winning games. Here's how it works: In Dota 2, you can earn money for winning matches and getting kills and assists. The amount you earn depends on the game mode you choose. In All Picks mode, you can earn $0.00300 for a win and $0.000060 for kills and assists in a loss. In Single Draft mode, you can earn $0.00315 for a win and $0.000063 for kills and assists in a loss. In Captain's Mode, you can earn $0.00375 for a win and $0.000075 for kills and assists in a loss. In Random Draft mode, you can earn $0.01650 for a win and $0.000066 for kills and assists in a loss. In Turbo mode, you can earn $0.00150 for a win and $0.000030 for kills and assists in a loss.

  1. You need to have a Steam account and their latest client installed in your computer in order to play this game. If you haven’t done so yet, create your account and download the client from the official website.
  2. You need to sign up in gamebeef, sync and verify your gamertag. Your gamertag is your Steam or Friend ID. Once your gamertag is verified, play ranked matches in any of these game modes: all pick, random draft or captain’s mode. Only competitive gameplay will be eligible for rewards.
    1. Each game mode will yield different rewards based on its difficulty.
    2. Custom or event matches will not be counted.
    3. Matches with too many bots or AI will not be counted.
  3. Wins will be rewarded with more $$ than losses, this is because we want players to compete against each other in terms of their win rates, rewarding the best professional players over casual players or players who have lower win rates.
    1. In terms of difficulty and popularity, Captain’s Mode will yield higher rewards than the rest of the game modes.
  4. Here are the play-to-earn rewards:

    • If you are a Crusader rank player and you win a Single Draft mode match, you would earn $0.00315 (base amount for Single Draft mode) + 25% of $0.00315 (additional percentage for Crusader rank) = $0.0039375 for the win.
    • If you are an Ancient rank player and you get a kill in a Captain's Mode match, you would earn $0.000075 (base amount for a kill in Captain's Mode) + 125% of $0.000075 (additional percentage for Ancient rank) = $0.00016875 for the kill.
  2. We ensured that Assists and Kills yield the same reward, this is due to every player’s lane role being different and generally, players who play support will have fewer kills than a midlaner. Also, we avoid complaints about kill stealing, trolling and such.
